Burning A CD for my car? Help?

So I have like an 05 honda. I have previously burnt cd's of all kinds and played them in my car. About a year ago i burnt a cd and it would not play in the car. Here's the thing though, the car plays cd's of the same brand, same data (52X 700 MB 80 Min) but for some reason new ones i burn won't play. the old ones however still work. What is the problem? Is it fixable? And how so?
