i've spilled a pot of boiling water on my hand when the handle broke...
had liquid sugar (343 degrees F) spatter and get on my bare skin...
had a pot of boiling barbecue sauce spilled on my leg...
had dry ice stick to my hand...
and gotten 3rd degree sunburn on my head, face and shoulders

I was about 13 and at Lake Powell with some friends. It was so hot, i spent the whole day sitting in the water up to my moobs. The combination of the sun beating down from above and reflecting off the water cooked me pretty effectively.

I fell asleep on a floatie in the pool on a trip to Corpus Christi. My parents were right there and they didn't even bother to wake me up or anything. :(

x.x I have had the same experience as you. I did that the other day...the mit thing somehow slid out of my hand. I was holding onto the hot tray. X.X DEATH!!!! I Took it and threw it toward the sink and took the mit out with a knife quickly. Then!!!!!! I soaked my hand in water for about...a couple hours. x.x Burns= x.x snrub Backwards......Snrub? Wait that doesn't make any sense?! >

Gawd, that sucks.

Did that once, only I forgot the mit entirely. NOT COOL. Got burnt right at the inner knuckles, couldn't bend my fingers for like a week. I'm shuddering right now just thinking about it.

I'm sure that makes everyone feel better Juggy.

I burned myself on a deep fryer before and so my burn looked like a tic tac toe board. After it healed my friends played tic tac toe on it.

I burned my whole left hand once. A cast iron pan just been taken off the stove and put on the counter and I reached acrossed the counter getting something. To keep my balance, I put my hand down right on the pan. That was a great burn, every finger and my palm blistered.

The coolest burn I've ever recieved was from a piping hot industrial size baking sheet at a cafeteria. I pulled it out of the oven witha huge pair of oven mitts, and when i went to move it, I had to lift it up... only it was so long that it hit the inside of one of my elbows and left a nice puffy scar right atop my buldging vein. It looked like I shot-up heroine for about 6 months.

Well, it's not much, and it's in black and white, but the white part of my thumb is the burn. It feels really weird, hehe. Sorry the picture kinda sucks. A lot. :(

I know, I know, it's a whimpy burn.
But it still wasn't fun to get!

Worst burns:

1) Years ago, at Halloween, my dog didn't recognize me in costume as we posed for pictures in front of the fireplace. She jumped on me and knocked me backward. I caught myself.. with my hand in the fire. You'd think I'd develop a phobia, but I'm actually a pyro.

2) Cleaning the popcorn machine at work. 2 inch long, 1 inch wide, bright red, scabby burn on my right wrist.

3) Woke up one morning and my mother was making muffins. I thought she was putting them in the oven so I grabbed one to help. Turns out she was taking them out..
