I got burned with boiling water due to a freak accident at home. My whistling teakettle was boiling water. I liftted the whisle and a jet of water (not steam!!!!) jump from inside kettle towards me. I tried to avoid it with a step back, but the water hit my right leg. I got a 2nd degree burn.
I would like to know from anyonw who may have had simmilar experience. The pain is very strong. I believe my teakettle is defective. I am negociating with the company who sold it. If does not work I am thinking about a lawsuit. Can you share you experience and what was the outcome?
