Hi.
I'm really interested in Burlesque dancing.
I'm starting to seriously consider it as a possible career when I leave 'school'.
I am home-schooled and I have no real dance experience although I do love to dance and I think I'm quite good even if i do say so myself...
Anyway, I was wondering, where should I start, I know I can't start dancing now as I'm far too young (Im 14, almost 15).
What do I need to know, could I teach myself? If so, how?
In my area, there are no burlesque classes or clubs so, when I am old enough, how should I go about getting into it?
Most importantly, where/how should go about doing my research? are there any online lessons?
And, can I incorporate it in my studies? Are there things such as courses/exams I could take that would help me later in life?
