Buried

I haven't read any of the replies because I don't want to be spoiled, but I have been really looking forward to seeing this. Hope to see it soon!

me and my friend saw it and all i can say is that i want to be cremated instead of buried when i die! the film just left me speechless!
i have to admit that even though it was a really really good film, it started off rather slowly, it wasnt until the second half that had me really gripped on the edge of my seat!

by the way, how do you do the spoiler tags?

I thought it was fantastic. It takes some great film making to keep the audience occupied for 90 minutes, with one character in a small space.

Brilliantly acted. Brilliantly written. Great suspense. Loved it!

The whole premises of the story sounRAB really interesting and the fact it has been getting good reviews makes it a must see.

I need to find someone to go with me because my boyfriend is claustrophobic and he quickly said 'no!' to watching it. My sister said she is not interested in watching a man trapped in a box for 90 minutes (), so I will have to convince one of my mates to tag along with me.

Saw this too. Firstly, this is an all Spanish production. This is a country which has given us many of the best horrors of the last few years so i knew this was going to be good.

I can totally relate to what people are saying about the reactions from the under-18's. They really don't realise this is a 90min film about a guy stuck in a coffin and THAT'S IT! They're thinking it must be some kind of horror/scary movie and it's so not. For example, i was watching it and 20mins into the film these 2 teens came in late and randomly sat right next to me. The boy couldn't have been older than 16 and all one did was constantly laugh thinking the film was some comedy or something. It wasn't even funny but for some reason he found it hilarious. For this reason he put me off my concentration and flow of the movie as i started to become increasingly annoyed at the laughter but i refrained from smacking him in the head. Luckily for me 30mins later they both became bored and they walked out.

I loved the way the director managed to keep it pacy and fresh by finding an infinite number of angles from which to shoot the action from. That was genius in my eyes! Even at the emotional element towarRAB the very end.

After all the hype i somehow felt slightly disappointed. I liked it, i thought it was good but it didn't blow me away (partly because of those 2 teens ruining my concentration!). It's a film i'll most likely need to see a second time. The first 20-30 mins was interesting and it quickly grabs you but it takes a while to get used to Ryan ReynolRAB being the only character in the film and it being solely about him. It's a challenge but you get used to it eventually. But then in the middle it started to lag and i felt it dragging a little bit and i could feel myself getting bored but
when the snake appeared
it had me hooked again right up until the very end.

And i'll make sure to stay past the end credits and see that final scene. They sure kept that quiet, i had no idea!

I thought the same. The first 20 mins or so was really slow, and was just a montage of heavy breathing with Ryan trying to find a way out.I actually saw a couple of people leave,i'm not sure if it was the movie or they had to be somewhere....

Really enjoyed the movie at the end, glad i watched it.

Agreed. The film must have been so low budget. One actor, one overgrown box (well a shed really). A friend told me it was meant to be good.

And the fact
he never got out of the box made it even more pointless.

thanks He4rt :), i saw a couple of people leave, especially the chavvy group who were saying out loud how shit the film was, then some man said shut up, i was like, yeah hear hear!
it wasnt until:

the snake appearance that really made me sit up and pay attention

and also:

i cant believe that he actually cut his finger off, just the noise of him cutting it off really made me squirm :\

but like you said, along with everyone else, im really glad i saw it and plus it shows that ryan reynolRAB is really good at doing serious roles as well as comedy roles!
