Ok so I started my gym class in January and have been doing a lot of jogging (of course) a couple weeks into the class I noticed it was really painful to jog, it almost felt like my shin bone was going break down to my foot. I found that after I ran for a while the pain lessoned and then about 20 minutes later when I would get off my bus it would hurt really bad. Now I have three hard bumps on one of my shins and only one bump on the other. Only one of them is really tender to touch the rest only hurt if I bump into something (even really lightly bump into something) My mom thinks they're shin splints but neither of us really knows anything about Shin splints. What should I do? And will it go away on its own?
