Just finished watching this on Channel 4.
What an amazing film.
The cast is excellent. They all acted superbly.
I loved the character Donny the best.
Did anyone else watch or have you already seen it?
Opinions?

Yes I just watched it.
I enjoyed it.

It's scary to know that there are people out there who really are as callous as that, and lack complete respect for human life.

:)

I saw a bit of it but i've seen it before.

I liked the stoned boy and Marty.

I think that boy deserved what he got.

The ending was good too when it showed the sentences and i felt sorry for Marty.

I think i may read the book now :)

i thought the start of the film was quite good and well acted but i got bored after a while and didnt make it too the end. i may attempt to watch the end of it latter but for now im sure there is something better

Funny, me too... i fell asleep roundabout the time they were gathering thier weapons of choice.

My boyf said it was a good ending though

I was thinking about this film yesterday...

How come none of the characters ever stuck up for themselves???

See, no wonder the lad (bobby?) constantly bullied his mates, its because not one of them ever opened thier mouths and stuck up for themselves. (Except when matt (?) punched him in the gut, and then carried on being his mate).

When they were all together plotting his demise, why didnt they all stick together and say lets just stop being mates with this loser til he starts showing us some respect?

If they trained him properly that they wernt going to put up with his behaiviour, then maybe he wouldnt have got away with it so much?

i thought the film was rather crazy in parts, the fact that the teens thought they could just kill the "bully" and get away with it went past me. i did enjoy it though, this could be down to the fact i had been out drinking all night. it was quite sexual but you'd expect nothing less from larry clark. it was different and worth watching again.

Yeah I agree, great movie. I don't think it was far fetched I think Larry Clark uses realism in a light that most directors are afraid to. I like that about his films, his movie's stand out because they are unlike no other.
