I'm not huge fan of tigerdirect although I do like their barebones and they have manufacturers that Newegg doesn't. But I would not recommend that barebone, the Q6700 is pretty old and especially in that barebones kit extremely overpriced, you could get a Q9400 at the same markup they have.

The motherboard featuring a last generation Nvidia chipset doesn't have 2.0 PCI-E which has double the bandwidth of those featured on the motherboard.

RAM, HDD, and PSU seem fine on that build however. The 9800GTX+ is a solid choice although it is $170 before rebates,

I haven't heard of Masscool so I can't comment on the heatsink.

Paying $40 for just an DVD burner seems a bit too much, you can get the same for half. It doesn't even have Lightscribe.

I'm starting to work on a gaming build and I have a while before I actually purchase it so I'm going to try and perfect it.

Here is my first build.
Your suggestions will help me build my dream computer :)
Thank you for your answers!

PS: This would be my first computer to build so any noobie tips are welcome.
