building a custom subwoofer box?

Im about to begin building a custom fiberglass box for the trunk of my Buick Park Avenue and Im not sure how to determine the exact total volume for the subs based on the recommended box volume listed for the sub. Do i just add up the volume from each sub? and do i need to worry about the displacement volume of the sub itself when to get the right final volume?
 
look just up the volume ive done it before and mine are the best in my city so go 4 it and do what u wont to do
