Building a Custom Freeride. ?

hi ive decided to do a project of building up my own custom made freeride bike with second hand/new parts from a range of 'classifieds'. I was wondering how tough or how much roughly it would cost.. i would like.. decent frame (doesn't have to be anything special) mainly the perogatives are.. disc brakes and gears and fairly light. Thanks :) All info welcome :)
 
you can have mine for 5000 its a 07 giant glory freeride with x-0 derallier and shifters.
and juicy 7s instead of the 5's

i upgraded it insanely and paid 7000 for it.
