Well I'm thinking about building a computer. And its my first.
I've been doing some research on processors, graphics, motherboards etc etc. I want to buy all components raw (including motherboard with exception of usb, mouse/keyboard..etc).
I plan to use it for music composition software and digital music ONLY. Dedicated computer in the sound room downstairs.....eventually....
For my processor I'd like to use an AMD Phenom 9600/9600 or a AMD Athlon 6400/6000/5600.
Graphics Card I'd like to use an ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT or ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO.
Motherboard (raw)...or I think it is...I'd like to use a ASUS M3A.

I think these are all compatible first off, with sockets and stuff. I'm still pondering the mother board....if the graphics will fit in it? I'm not stupid, but I'm expanding my knowledge. Also, is this stuff pretty good for a medium-high quality computer? Thanks.
