I own a '97 buick Lesabre and I'm thinking about trading it in for an 2003 Pontiac Grand Am SE. My question is what would be best to do, keep my car or trade it in for the other one? I've heard a lot of complaints about pontiacs so I'd really appreciate some advice on what to do... Plus I don't know much about cars.

Thanks in advance :)
The Buick has 168,000 miles and the Pontiac 143,000

Both are great vehicles. The Grand Am is a bit smaller right? Does that matter to you?

pontiacs are good cars, but i'd keep the buick. they were rated the most reliable car in the world, it's a constant battle between buick and lexus. keep your oil changed and the buick will keep on running! good luck

if I were you, i would keep the buick. your buick has better reliability and crash test results than the pontiac. also, your buick has a higher "customer satisfaction rating" than the pontiac. so my advice is to save your money and don't buy the grand am.

They're both good cars but the Buick is extremely long lasting. I've seen many LeSabres and Park Avenues around that year with over 200,000 miles.

143,000 is WAY too much for a 2003! Where did the previous owner go with that car?? Wow.

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. It still runs great but I've babied it ever since I've owned it. But I'd beware of a car with that many miles.....
