I've had 3 different mechanics to look at my car, and I've gotten 3 different answers.
1). The 1st mechanic who looked at my car told me it sounded the way it does because it was idled and to spray it (I forgot what the spray was called) and over time it would run better.
2). My dad took my car to get an oil change, and the mechanic said that I didn't need an oil change but I did have a rod knock in my engine.
3). The 3rd mechanic looked at my car and told me that my motor/engine was fine; however, I did infact have an oil problem (along with some other things). The oil wasn't going through the right place and it was leaking on my engine/motor and that's what was making that knocking noise. He also said that I needed knew spark plugs, a thermometer, and a gasket cover.
So I really dont know what the problem with my car is. From what I am describing to you, what do you think the problem is?
I dont believe my car is dying. The car was actually well taken car of (at least by the looks) by the previous owner. It only has 91,000 miles on it. And these 3 different mechanics were only INSPECTING my car. 2 of the 3 actually volunteered it. It was only the 3rd mechanic that I paid to come out and look at it.
The 1st mechanic HEARD my car and gave the advice.
The 2nd mechanic- well idk what he did. It was taken to the shop to get an oil change, but the guy called my dad right back and told him that the oil didnt need to be changed- however- i did have a rod knock in my engine (or somehting like that)
