Buick century car 1988 model. after driving about 30 miles will cut off. after

cool down. its ok? the car is in great shape, one owner been sitting up 5 years. runs great. drive the car about 30 miles and it will cut off. then- it will start to run about half speed. cutting out and spitting,, then it cools down it will run about 30 miles and do same thing again. the coil and the gas filter has been change. do u have a clue? thanks
