Can I take a transverse designed 3800 motor, from say, a park ave or lesabre, and bolt this motor to a longitudinal transmission, say a 3 TH350 or a TH700R4? Will the dowel pins and bolt holes on thie transverse motor line up? Also, what about motor mount position... Basically I need to know if I can put a Series II 3800 transverse in place of a longitudinal motor...
Yes yes, I acknowledge my typo, lol, disregard the extra "3"..... as for the question at hand, and I do realize I may not get details, but we are kinda looking for specifics if possible. We want to use a bonneville supercharged 3800 against a TH350... Can "motor mount adaptors" be fabricated? What about the actual abutment of block to bellhousing? Is there a company who makes adaptors? Sry for so many questions and lengthyness...
