Bugger I need a new phone!

Ok so its been a while since ive gotten my hanRAB on a new phone to crack and hijack to cricket. I dont want to get a treo or a moto Q. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good phone for my next mafia hit? :lol:
 
I'd *try* a Q. I have a feeling once i get around the "Falure: Couldn't program. Call customer support." error. (Which might get fixed when i head to the Cricket store in 30 or soish minutes.) (Which should fix the "We're sorry, Your phone is not authorized to make calls at this time." error as well) It'll be a pretty good phone. I picked one up for 150.00 from someone locally. Seem's cragislist is the place to find them. Make sure to call as i went through 3 listings that were sold but left up before i found mine.

But i'd also try maybe getting uh... umm.. A chocolate? Dunno really. Should be interesting either way.
 
I'd absolutely love to see a Helio Ocean up and running on Cricket. Which is to say, if I could have any CDMA phone out there working on Cricket that's the one I'd want the most.

Second (and I know it's not that thrilling), an LG VX-8700 -- I think it's a gorgeous phone.
 
The Q idk maybe if i found a good price because i want a nice smrt phone tho i havent played with one yet. The ocean i want to play with and would be cool to get on cricket but idk about getting everything working on it. The VX-8700 is a sexy lil phone i might have to play with it. As for the chocolate i dont like them and wont buy one.
 
I'd say try the ocean... try to get WAP and MMS working. If you get one, remeraber the FYE trick... they don't activate phones in-store, so you can get the 2 year contract price, but never activate the phone...


The 8700 will be easy to crack... It's just an updated 8600, which is the same internals as the chocolate... it probably won't be any more challenging than your EnV was, and certainly won't add much to your knowledge.
 
They're going for about 150.00-199.99 all the way up to 300.00. I found one on sprint for 199.99. I can send you the link on Craigslist if your interested (Its in north scottsdale)
