Buffy♥Angel #35 I wanna take comfort in you, and I know it'll cost me my soul, and a part of me doesn't care.

Amazingly beautiful scene

OMG Such a beautiful video with a song that fits them perfectly!

Hey guys. I haven't posted on FF in ages. But I watched "Lovers Walk" earlier and just had to come by. The scene at the end broke my heart more this time than it did the first time I saw it.

"There has to be a way we can still see each other."
"There is: tell me you don't love me." :bawl:

I think the BA "love" scenes were always tastefully done. There was passion and sensuality without showing too much. What I love about Surprise/Innocence was that it was about love for them. They weren't just trying to fulfill their physical desires, it was more than that. That's why Angel lost his soul, because of his love for Buffy.

I usually skip Spike's "I'll make you feel me" moment  Tara's death was pretty sad too  I didn't see it coming.

I had to laugh out loud when Buffy told Spike that there were "no tongues". She's such a liar. That close up told us otherwise Ms. Summers, you aren't fooling us. I loved that kiss though, it's like they can't help but gravitate toward each other every time they're in the same room.

TWoP is what got me through s7. If I'm every crazy enough to rewatch s4, I know where to go.

I love that "jeans" quote from Sarah. :sigh:

Jenna, your avi. :bawl: Damn you Lost for making me so miserable. :bawl: I bet the series finale will be even worse. *sigh*

Thanks

I see that happening as well  She could pick another guy but she'll always love Angel and I never thought that was fair to her or the guy. I can imagine poor Angel watching her over time, all alone :(

Thanks for the welcome. :D Yeah, I have mixed feelings about a movie too, but if I knew it would go my way and be happy then I'd be okay with it. And you're right, I think BA did get a very hopeful ending. The cookies/baking analogy and the look on Angel's face... :sigh: I think I must have watched that scene a thousand times after it aired. It would be great to see an older Buffy with Angel. I think they'd be just about perfect together.

I haven't read the Buffy comic books, did they reunite in the comic books at all?

Is it wrong of me to wish that SMG would guest star on "Bones" and date Booth just so I can have an alternate universe BA reunion?

Welcome Augusta!

For those who have seen s7, how do you feel about Buffy in that season? I just finished "Lies My Parents Told Me" and I'm left feeling numb towards her character. As each episode passes, I lose more respect and connection to her character. She's been my favorite since the pilot, but I can't relate or understand her motivations/behaviors in s7. I'm just curious as to what other people think, it might help give me some insight.

And even if I went by that unattractive dream, I'd say that Cordy was only one part of his happiness. There was so much going on in that dream that I could also say that the AI Team gave Angel the big happy
