I used to take the comics pretty seriously, now I don't know anymore. The characters are sounding too strange imo, mostly Angel. :no:

Buffy was detached ever since she came back from the dead, but at least we knew why she made some of the choices she did in s6. She still broke down and despite her bad choices I still felt for her. But with s7...I don't know why she's so cold or why she puts Spike above everyone else. Her mantra that "Spike has a soul now" doesn't really tell me much. He still makes threats towards people and she lets him. The First had control of him and she kept him around girls she was supposed to protect. That's not the Buffy I know or love. :shrug: I still love her as a character, the writers have just made her motivations and those around her very unclear.
 
In OMWF they'd have an original song but I bet Angel would sing about Barry Manilow :lmao: He could sing Mandy but instead of saying Mandy he could say Buffy and sing about them to the melody!
