Buell/Ducati Racing

Hello all new to the forum. I own a Ducati 999 as back up bike on small race team. The Main Race bike is a Buell XBRR race bike bored to 1420cc ( total Of 7 bikes in garage , Others KTM990 adventure Kaw.ZX14 Buell 1125R ,buellXB12R

welcome to the forum. i've never ridden a buell, so i won't judge you on your opinion - we are all entitled to have our own opinions anyway.

but i will say this...

buells are ugly.

Flowride is our resident Buell convert. As long as you can take the ugly jokes you'll be fine here.

nice collection, I got a 900 xcross as my daily ride, the buells are great in the twisties. Feel free to say what ever you like, we dont have standards here. lol. welcome

Thank you all . I am an avid motorcyclist. Have been all my life . I really am impressed with the Ducatis ability to be riden fast easily . The Buells are just better at that 10/ 10ths level Racing speed . AND I must say this . The lights on the 999 are the best ive ever seen !!! IVE bought 15 motorcycles just this year to see which I would want to keep in stable( 3 are really for racing ) Kept 7 . Not a Harley fan The road king is an odd one. Displacement is 2200cc 675 cams retro two tone paint has 140hp 135lbs torque , ONLY can go strait lol. I AM NOT A BRAND PERSON . IF THE BIKE IS GOOD IOWN IT IF IT ISNT ILL SAY SO NO MATTER WHAT BRAND IT IS . Youll hear me talk about Buells just because they might not be the best bikes . But they are the mosy underrated bikes . For 5000$ new the 1125r is a great 2nd track bike . Ducati is built well and is best in its class for being able to be ridden fast easily . Its not just a NAME . MV agusta look beautiful but dont really shine in any area. Thanks again for the welcome . Jake

PS I like the lookk of a Buell as long as it has a fairing .. without a fairing they are butt ugly !!! lol

Yeah, with Buell going down...any one with a little coin in their pocket can pick one up right now CHEAP! Problem is, then you'd have a Buell

Sorry couldn't resist. I've heard they handle amazing, I've never ridden one. On the street there seems to be a stigma attached to them. Most guys just want to make jokes and dont give them much respect. The great thing about the track is, respect is earned ... fast bikes make believers out of those on slow bikes. Nice collection.
