We have chain link fencing which is about 3ft high and want some privacy from our neighbours. We cannot afford fence panels and have managed to get some half price brushwood screening as we like the effect. What would be the best way to attach this to the existing fence? The screening is 6ft so we are aware that it is going to overhang the chain link fencing so were thinking of putting in some batons as a support on the upper half of it but not too sure what to use to attach to the fence posts. Screws, staples or nails? Or would we need to use some sort of metal wire to tie them on?
