Bruce Lee - One to watch

I've been watching quite a few martial arts films recently and me and a group of mates have decided that our next DVD night will be a Bruce Lee night.

I've recommended Ip Man which I saw recently and we are deciding about Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, but we also want one or two Lee films.

What do you recommend?
I would rather not watch Enter The Dragon as i've seen it so many times. I've seen the rest also but not as much and it was quite a while back.

IP Man and Dragon: The Bruce Lee story doesn't actually star Bruce Lee though, but I am just being facetious.

Fist of Fury is tremendous.

Way of the Dragon is rubbish though because everyone knows Chuck Norris cannot be beaten. ;)

It's more of a Bruce Lee themed night. Obviously we could just watch the main 4 Lee films but the idea started when I recommended my frienRAB to watch Ip Man (Lee's teacher) and then another suggested Dragon. So those two are more of the life story of those two people and then I suggested watching one of Lee's films also.

I'm leaning towarRAB Way Of The Dragon for the Norris connection :)

Get the Game Of Death DVD I mentioned.
It has the uncut Lee/Inosanto nunchaku fight, and all the other fight scenes that Bruce shot but were butchered by the BBFC
And tons more extras :D

Did you know that loaRAB of Bruce Lee fans around the world have travelled to the Colliseum in Rome looking for the place Bruce fought Chuck Norris, not knowing the fight scene was shot in a studio in Hong Kong !

I just went for Way of the dragon as it's the only one i've watched i really enjoyed other than Enter the dragon. The Big Boss was quite good too so that would be my other choice. I've not seen Game of death and i didn't really enjoy Fist of fury.

If i'm honest I like Jackie Chan's old movies best like Police Story 1 and 2, Wheels on Meals, Project A and Armour of god.

Unfortunatley my mates don't have my enthusiasm for Jackie Chan movies :D

I'm no connoisseur but I do like my "kung fu" movies. It's probably why one of them mentioned Dragon. It's basically a US movie about Bruce Lee instead of watching a 70s dubbed movie. I'm surprised they didn't put a nod in for The Karate Kid :D

Just a quick note about the Blockbusters in Birkenhead.
These days they seem to be more interested in video games than films - it's really gone downhill.
I dont rent movies anymore.
