Desire wins as expected but I don't know why the HD2 is using Opera 10 beta when Opera 5 is the native browser with multi-touch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Buh_dkzpYc&feature=player_embedded#!
I think the one doing the test is not to update because Opera 10 for WiMo is already some time in the market and we all know Opera 10 beta not run very smooth(and sorry dj but for WinMo the native browser is not Opera Mini is the full version is Opera 10 Mobile)
Not on my HD2, Opera Mini 5 is the native browser, it has multi-touch. Opera Mobile 10 is a beta app for it and Internet Explorer is there but it sucks as usual.
No dj all HTC WinMo devices the Default Browser is Opera 9 or 10,go to Opera About an see the version if not is just the T-Mobile version the first one with Opera Mini.if not do some search.
Do you know if Opera Mobile 10 has multi-touch support and flash support somehow? I have it installed but no multi-touch on HD2 nor flash support (no youtube links display available...
I have 10, that's what I'm saying. 10 isn't the default browser so I don't know why they used it. It's known to be buggy and it isn't as fast as the included Opera 9. something.
BTW, it would've lost either way but it doesn't suck as much as it did in the video.
I certainly find pocketnow video quite incorrect and here is the proof... I used stock Opera 9.7 (where Opera Mobile 10 they've used is lot faster) however - see video for yourselves, proving my point that HD2 is not that slow as shown on the video above posted.
Need to check Brandon HD2 most of the test he do is with the Euro HD2 and remember not 3G for that device ,need to see if he use for the test the T-mo HD2 device.
