Brownie Topping debate with my girlfriend.?

My girlfriend says that she doesnt like brownies with frosting on it, but she does like brownies with powdered sugar on them. Does powdered sugar count as a brownie frosting? I think it does, but she insists that it doesn't. Which person is right?

Powdered sugar is more like sprinkles - neither of them are frosting.

Your friend is right , powdered sugar is not a frosting.

I dont think that powdered sugar is a "frosting", but i think it is a topping. Frosting has a thicker texture, where as powdered sugar gives a little more of a certain taste, but not much texture change. Would you use powdered sugar as "frosting" for cupcakes??
