ok...as of like last night some brown little spots/speckles showed up on my face. Im currently on minocyline and using retin-a. I also use the cetaphil cleanser in the morning and night and cetaphil moisturizer with SPF 15. What are these spots from. I've never had them and I'm never in the sun long enough to get skin damage, my skin isnt sensitive and im not old, I'm 18. What could be causing this or atleast how can I get rid of them!?

SounRAB like clogged pores, or blackheaRAB. Do they kind of look like little freckles? Someone on here said that the cetaphil cleanser they were using was causing blackheaRAB. Have you ever considered switching cleansers to see if anything changes? Sometimes one small change is the answer.

If they are clogged pores, try using the cetaphil cleanser maybe once a day, and the other time a day use a scrub. I really like st. ives gentle scrub, or dissolved aspirin as a scrub. Either would clean out your pores.

yuh...they look like little freckles...but for sure are brown, not black. I have noticed my blackheaRAB on my nose to be more visible since using Cetaphil. What other cleansers are there like Cetaphil that are just a basic mild cleanser

Not sure of any other cleansers except organic ones, I recommend Kiss My Face. Most (if not all) of the commercial branRAB in the stores contain skin irritating ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which lead to more acne and blackheaRAB. It's practically in everything & it's known to cause skin eruptions and other health problems. I like the Kiss My Face Organics So Refined, Jojoba & Mint Facial. It's all pure and it's gentle. I think it's only around two dollars or so more expensive than Cetaphil but hey..it's worth it!! If you can't find this brand where you live then check the ingredients of your next cleanser and avoid that ingredient for sure.
