so i brought my beautiful 91 dodge stealth r/t twin turbo for a recall to the local dodge dealership, the recall was to be of no cost to me, they tell me its gonna take a while cause they have to get to the transfer case its a complex vehicle, whatever, they had to order the parts, I had to leave the car there, the next morning I call THEM and they tell me the car's ready, when I start the car and drive off I noticed it felt weak, not the way I dropped it off, its a twin turbo car I know how it feels, I figured perhaps they had to do diagnostic checks, or just left the airbox open. When I get to my house the car is clicking loud I noticed the power loss, then there was no oil pressure, the car wouldn't even start, I called them immediately and they told me to bring the car back, but not before telling me the tow is going to be at cost to me because all they did was go into the transfer case. The car is towed back the same day and I'm there the next morning, they noticed that the oil level was low, and after waiting many hours I spoke to the director who assured me that this is just unfortunate circumstance and made an offer that they will find out what the sound is. I get a call 2 days later and they tell me its a spun rod bearing and its going to cost me $450 to fix. And they said the oil's fine.
