Brotherhood - Anybody seen it?

hey.

i decided to make a thread on this film because i watched it last night from getting it on dvd for christmas. and i have to say it is probably one of the best films i have ever seen...and im not just saying that. the storyline is absolutly fantastic as well as moving, the fight scenes as good as saving private ryan if not better. there are also some quite grusome scenes but are all what it was truly like in the Korean war.

im not usually a fan of foreign film because of subtitles etc but i definatly reccommend this movie.

anybody else seen it? what did you think?

Brotherhood was one of the greatest films I have seen this year. It has some of the best war scenes I have seen in a film and goes back and forth between the horror of the Korean war and the moving scenes with the brothers. Despite being nearly two and a half hours long, Brotherhood grips you and does not let go until the final credits. A very powerful film and it shows how South Korea is a hotbed of the movie industry right now, as they have been making some incredible films over the last few years (Oldboy, Shiri, Fighter In The Wind, Attack The Gas Station, etc).
