What is the difference between broth cultures and streak plate?

For Broth cultures, it was originally clear, but not it has become cloudy? why?

Is the broth cultures purpose to grow in large numbers of bacteria or seperate individual bacteria?

Streak Plate

Is it for identifying individual colonies?

Smear plates purpose?

does it grow large numbres of bacteria or does it seperate individual bacteria?

Why do we use smear plates instead of broth cultures?

Broth cultures are cultures grown in liquid media to be grown on. They are cloudy when they have growth in them.

Smear plates are grown all over the agar plate for large numbers and streak plates show individual cultures for identification and to isolate so that they can be grown on to different media for further investigation
