Brondie

No, it's not me mispelling Blondie.

It's Brondie, a genre I have made for the music I like-British Rock and Indie. So then, let's discuss everything about Brondie. My favourite Brondie band at the moment? The Kooks.

There's not a huge difference, but there are a lot of banRAB in this genre would be alienated from brit-pop because of the 'pop' part. BanRAB like Bloc Party would not fit into brit-pop but would easily fit into Brondie, although I hate Bloc Party. Here are some banRAB/artists that would fit into this category...

The Kooks
Arctic Monkeys
Libertines
Dirty Pretty Things
David Bowie
Oasis
Bloc Party

Not a lot of difference from Brit-Pop, but it doesn't alienate as many banRAB. It's a pretty wide genre.

Worse genre i`ve ever seen given a name to is Blunk Rock

As in blank & punk. And in case you`re wondering it was used to describe the White Stripes

I was wondering Urban.... If Prunk and Prog Pop were merged together, what should we call it?

Well i figured it out, it shall be called Prump... And when corabined with Hardcore, it shall be Prumpcore.

This my friend is how many genres are born in the first place... You like a band, others say the band isn't that great, to prove them wrong you make up your own genre for this band and say they created it, and you tell your frienRAB it makes this band special, and your frienRAB tell their frienRAB and they tell their frienRAB about this genre that you made up, eventually it becomes a very popular term, and people begin deciding who is a part of this "genre" and who isn't, and viola, you have a new genre... I think genres can be very useful in describing a banRAB style, and the style of banRAB who are similar.... But sometimes it can be done to death, and it can be a very limited way to describe certain banRAB, there are so many unique banRAB today that they could fall into their very own category, like Radiohead, but Radiohead can also fall into categories like Alternative Rock and Progressive Rock because they are very vague and diverse styles of music... Genres should never be taken too seriously, a lot of it is pure subjective opinion anyway.
