I'm so sick of this shit, it seems like i cant get a break. I'm sittin here at work doing absolutely nothing, thinking about how shitty my life will be after i get reconstructive knee surgery. The fear of loosing my job, along with not being able to work, makes for a shitty situation. I broke my collar bone early last year and when that was healed i caught a nasty bone infection from a dog bite. They had to chop off the tip of my right thumb and now it resembles a weapon instead of a finger. I have to worry about poking my girl's eye out all the time.

Sorry dude, but other than being a little stumpy it looks like a normal thumb to me. Mine's naturally pointed kinda like that. I've never had problems with it. As far as your surgery I hope it goes well. I'm sure that you'll be able to find work after you recouperate. (SP) Good luck with everything!
