Broken MIDI Keyboard Question?

So I have an Axiom 25 MIDI and the USB port has become so loose that the cable no longer fits securely in it. First of the slightest movement will turn the keyboard off and the computer does not recognize it even for the moments when I keep it still enough to remain on.

So I have two questions:

1. Is there an easy repair I can do myself?
2. Is there somewhere I can take it to get this problem fixed? (Guitar center, Best Buy, Computer repair store, etc.)

Thanks for all input

you can put the usb plug into another usb port that is good.
repairing a usb port isin't easy unless you know how to do it
if you are using the only usb port available then i suggest you install a usb hub where you can plug more than one into a single port

I reckon it depends on whether it's the cable or the USB port that's gone bad. Can you use the USB port to connect other devices such as printers, mice, etc.? Don't you have another USB port available on that computer? If the USB port is the culprit and you don't have a spare I think repairing it would be very expensive because that's part of the motherboard and they'd probably have to replace the whole thing.

Obviously if it's just the cable then you can replace it for just a few bucks (free if you have an extra USB cable lying around).
