Broken camera... all black photos?

I was taking photos today with my Canon Digital Rebel 300D (obviously a pretty old camera now) and out of the blue all my photos started coming out black, like I was taking photos with the lens cap on. I've tried using multiple lenses, but the result is always the same- totally black. I've tried different modes and settings and I get the same result. I hear the shutter click and everything feels fine.

Any ideas about what broke? If so, any idea how much it costs to fix if it's even repairable?
