Well I haven't even had my new 8320 for two weeks, when I cracked my screen. It was in my pocket and got wedged in between my leg and my steering wheel when the screen cracked. Its a pretty big crack. I think its just the outer plastic protecting the actual screen. I called Tmo immediately and purchased insurance. Although i have to pay a deductible. Is there anyway I might be able to get a free replacement because its not even 2 weeks old? I thought you had a two week replacement warranty with any new phone but after talking with Tmo I guess I was wrong.
The funny thing is, I've never damaged any of my phones before. Im usually pretty OCD about who touches my phones and what pocket they go in. Just kills me that it cracked so easily.
Anyways its going to cost me $110 to get a new replacement with the insurance, I only payed $120 for the phone so that makes me a little uneasy. Is there anywhere I could just purchase the protective plastic piece? Or would I be better off paying the deductible?
