Broke my ATT phone, help!?

Hello guys, today I discovered that the keys of my ATT phone don't function anymore. Sadly, my warranty is expired, no insurance, nothing! I'm also not elegible for an upgrade yet. Can I just buy a regular att phone at my local radioshack and just transfer my chip into the other phone? If not, what can I do?
