Britannia High is really good!

Just caught up with last night's episode. Story was good although some of choreography in the songs was very 80s and not as impressive as previous weeks. Lola's not the best actress but all in all another highly enjoyable hour.

Can't believe its not getting better ratings. Deserves better than just 2.5 million. Must be that ITV have put it in the wrong time slot on the wrong day. Think it would have done much better on Saturdays at around 5 o'clock or so when more kiRAB are around??

That's the channel 4 whose drama budget has been heavily cut in the last couple of years? They couldn't afford to make Secret Diary of a Call Girl, originally their show, or a planned 3rd series of Sugar Rush and I'd imagine they were much cheaper than BH.

Yeah of course High School Musical

I watched Dance X with Rana and Marcquelle and thought they were the most talented of the bunch, so I'm not surprised to see them on TV again

So did anyone notice the scene in last week's programme that betrayed BH's Manchester film location? It was where the gang were on some steps spying on Lola and Stefan having a coffee... check out the signpost nearby! :p

I gather the Australian Seven Network pulled the show after screening only one episode due to a dire audience reaction.

The fact that there's still no announcement by ITV about a second season here (with only one more pre-recorded episode and the bumped from prime-time finale to go) probably shows how much it is struggling for its life. To be honest I'll be a bit surprised if it does get recommissioned, simply because ITV expected BH to be HUGE and get a regular audience of around 6 million. It hasn't done anywhere near that sort of business for them, so I expect it to go the way of Rock Rivals and Echo Beach.

I hate stereotypical, cliched characters and Claudine exactly that. Can't warm to her at all. Especially as I hate people who set out to ruin other people's lives.
