I think its because he has a Bristol accent and tries not to speak with that accent so overcompensates...not that I am trying to make excuses for him, he isnt too bad to look at though. I dont like him and Claudine together.......wow I am talking like a 13 year old haha
I think it would have lost viewers every week regardless of the timeslot. I really wanted to enjoy it - watched the first four weeks before switching off. I just found it really boring and most of the songs were weak too.
Totally agree lol In fact didn't Doris have a hard time with the dancing when she first came into it? It was the poor black guy and the posh white girl scenario. Of course, they always broke into song at the end of it. I recall getting the Fame soundtrack for Christmas one year lol My daughter thought it was great and I sat there and said the same thing about Fame, so I guess it's working. I'm waiting for them to all run out of school and start dancing on the top of cars and stopping traffic
One thing that did annoy me (but probably went unnoticed by others!) was that some scenes were quite obviously dubbed over (and by that I mean actual speech rather than the songs). The worst scene was when they were at Picadilly Circus. The editors must've forgotton to turn the background noise up a bit because their voices were really loud and because of that you could see the way their mouths weren't quite moving with the worRAB they were saying.
Loved the first episode. Am telling all my frienRAB to watch - can't believe it got small ratings. It's wicked. This Sunday it's ll about hot Danny (mitch Hewer!!!!) and Girls Aloud appear. Can't wait!!!
