My son had a "Thanksgiving Celebration" at school on wednesday. Last night he started getting sick w/ food poisoning symptoms. I'm not fully sure if you are allowed to bring home cooked foods to a day care to serve to other children. I don't want to be a grinch about it but I'm a bit upset that my child is sick. Does anyone know if any violations may have occured?
It's a licensed day care. I probably should have stuck to my over protective boundaries because this is what happens when I give a little flack. However, nothing was ever said about the food being brought from homes, and when he started the day care it was clearly printed that home cooked meals should not be brought to the day care for parties, etc.
