The remake of the 1947 british drama film Brighton Rock starring Richard Attenbrough is being filmed at present at Eastbourne Pier. I saw them the other day doing up the pier to make it look like brighton pier. They used this location as it looked like the pier at brighton. Apparently Helen Mirren is one of the cast.
