spacekiddet32, , I would not jump to conclusions after seeing the trailer. The story is about a magical place that two kids have created with their imagination and I think the part we see in the trailer is just us being able to see in their minds...really looking forward to it.

And I did not realize Zooey Deschanel from Elf is in this -- I loved her in that film. Can't wait to see this.

the end made me bawl!!!

i dont know if im going to see the movie. It seems like they made it SciFi and I didn't picture either Leslie or Jesse to look that way.

DreamWalker, I thought you enjoy this AIM interview with Zooey -- she seems so down to earth...love how she said josh hutcherson and annasophia were more mature than her -- haha. Enjoy:

Im still looking forward to seeing this movie, thought ive been reading some reviews that I shouldnt of read since I like to be surprised  Sounds like a sad kinda ending.

Hey Jess you post on here??

I LOVED the rain scene too..and when he gives her the dog..they sooo would've gone out if they had been teens

It's been a book for years...does it count as a spoiler? Maybe a mod can help out here.

Also--I'm the biggest fan of the book! It made me cry buckets and I can still remember parts of the book.

The trailer of the movie makes me nervous as it appears they have Narnia-fied it and that was really only a tiny party of the book. I'm hoping the trailer is just misleading to get the audience in.

I saw it too Bella! It was awesome. It is my new favorite movie. I wanted to go see it again today but it was playing too late.

My favorite parts were usually with them on the bus, the music class, or of course in Terabithia.

Jess/Leslie are soo cute. I so thought the rain scene was an indication that Jess/Leslie developed crushes on one another.

I saw this movie last Sat and it was wonderful, I loved it. Not too different from the book so just right :)

Dont let it scare you -- I got to see this film early and LOVED it! It was very true to to the book and I dont think you booklovers will dissappointed. I was not at all. I think they did a great job of illustrating Terabithia and I loved seeing Leslie and Jess' friendship form. It was just so good...definite must see that all ages can enjoy.

Yes, it is a classic -- I am going to have to re-read it. I remember I cried so hard. Gosh, what a great book! I am excited about revisiting the story from my perspective now -- I just loved Jesse and Leslie and the frienship they formed. It reminds me of my childhood best friend Judson who was my next door neighbor and best friend -- we played everyday and the cool thing is that I will randomly run into when I am home.

Anyway, I can't wait to see this!
