Bricked my 6681 (power outage during update process)

Hey Everyone--

I just found out about the Nokia Software Update tool. So I was updating my 6681, going fine, until my power goes out. Anyway, my phone is now non-responsive, as you may well imagine.

What is the best (read: fastest) solution to this problem? Should I send it in to Nokia? Can I somehow send it to someone to get it reflashed, which would return it to normal?

yeah iunlock my e61 got toasted during a firmware update and it wouldn't start at all. they fixed it right up and very quickly i might add. they sent it back to me the day they got it. so if you are willing to fork over the cash for overnight shipping you could get it back within a couple of days, lol.
 
Sure sounds like something sent you a sign to upgrade to a brand new N80 or something!

But seriously, I've used iUnlock as well and add my nod of support to them. Nice guys, answer their emails and the questions you ask. They advertise on HoFo as well in the vendor forum.

Thanks a ton guys- I sent it to the guys over at iUnlock.

As for getting a n80, it is looking more and more like I need a more fully featured smartphone- the Cingular 8525 specifically is looking pretty sweet.
