please help me...i have a g1 that was already modded that is bricked...
i tried doing the hard reset but still no luck....
i really dont know how to mod or hack my g1 all i want is to be able to use it....
does anyone know what can i do to just load the original factory software on it so it will atleast turn on?????

Power it on pressing the power and home buttons at the same time. Keep pressing the home button for 5 more seconds. It should boot into a recovery mode. if not, youre really bricked.
 
i've tried that but it doesnt do anything it after the reset it takes me to some enoch loading screen and then shuts off
 
wait, if you get to the enoch screen, you should be okay... turn your phone off again. then hold down home+power to turn the phone on. ideally, like simms said, it should show the black g1 screen, and then go to your recovery image (it'll be a black screen with a list of options).
 
if you see the enoch screen, you are ok. you need to wipe and flash(install)a rom(in that recovery mode mentioned). Get a rom, put it on the main part of your sd. then, depending on what recovery mode you have installed, youll either rename that file to update.zip or just leave it as it is. again, that depends on which recovery you have. im sure that youll get pointed into the right direction by our members, but i highly recommend the CyanogenMod roms http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Main_Page
