I GOT MY MP3 PLAYER BACK!!!i searched everywhere and nothing.. eventually i used a corabonation of reflashing some firmware and resetting the brew under nv editor and bam.. got my apps to work after nothen else would..i am soo happy u dont even know.I mean the Mp3 player was completeley gone.. and now they are back.. ya boy!!(please delete this thread if the solution is already wideley known but i dont think it is) I try and will post tomorrow with exactly what i did :buddies:

Yes please post a How Too also it should be in the phone section not the xD PDA's but anyhow that would be nice, i read a something about how to get brew back however it never worked, i kind of though that you would have to load up the old VZW settings to get it back but maybe i guess i was right. but yes please do post

every 1 except randomwit said it couldnt be done.. i knew it had to be possible so i kept at it and.. well here it is.. not exactly a walkthrough but more of basic idea or more just me remerabering the pain i went through. others can try and post there results.....
FIRST OFF..... PLEASE DO NOT FLAME ME about how this doesnot work because i know first hand my phone was saying No apllication over and over again and now im listening to my Mp3 player so if it doesnt work for you then idk because this is exactlyyyyy what idid thats why im including the steps that i didnt think worked but may have effected outcome... My voyager originally had Vx10kv07.........when i first flashed my cricket settings and screwed up brew i was using the 9900dlll.. when flashing later to try to recover i was using 10000dll .. SOFTWARE I USED-- Lg download 1.3.6.3..... bitpim 1.3 all dll's and bin files (v07 and v05) taken from humpas verizon page.
(step1)first thing i did was this fix right here at the bottom of the page to fix the vcast apps..(it did not work so i did it maybe 4 times over and over again but still no music player)...(step2)at that point it was still saying NO APPLICATION when trying to access Mp3 player or navigation...then i tried reflashing my phone with vx10kv07(and vx10000dll) using the instructions on that same link i gave you to fix apps.. again it did not work at restoring apps..(step3) i tried step 1 a couple more times to see if it would work now that i had reflashed it but no.. nothing!!..hmmm (step4) at this point i gave up and began listening to music out my sounRAB folder..then i decided to downgrade my firmware and use vx10kvo5(and vx10000dll)..that did not work but i did also try step 1 as well at this point(usually i tried step 1 every once in a while to see if i maybe was doing that process wrong)..The whole time this was going on it said NO APPLICATION and when i even tried to hard reset my phone it gave me a brew error and would not hard reset at all...(step5) searched and searched.. i mean through every post about voyager.. posts by berry.. stevek.. everything i could find..Almost with no hope left i found this idea http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1447353 (which though berry said he tried and dint work somethen told me to try it anyway)
(step6)i went back and edited my nv settings under brew to these EXACT settings.. what happened? nothen!!... completeley wasted all my time!!!!!.. crap .(step7) well i though about it.. at least i might as well upgrade back to vx10kv07 from the v05 im using now cause i cant edit my damn shortcuts!!lol... ok so i try vx10000dll id been using to flash vx10kvo7..no go..then i select the 99000dll and it allows me to flash from v05 back to v07.. threw some videos on my card and a couple more siongs in my sounRAB folder and started watching tv(american dad) and had a beer or 3..so then i thought let me check my phone real quick to see if it went back to v07 correctly.. accidently presssed the music syrabol and HOLY MACARONI!!! mp3 player loaded and im good as new.. THANK GOD!!! .. something i did worked and im pretty sure i know what but i will not risk losing my mp3 player again to test so yall try it out if ya like it cant hurt!!!

ya from version v07(or wuteva u have..then to v05 and back to v07 finally) .. reapply the verizon brew settings before u do that and do the fix on mark ventures page(everytime u switch firmware to b safe ).. thats all i did just hastily the first time.. it worked like a charm on the second phone i tried so i must be doin somethen right
