Brew (CricKet Clicks) settings

Could anyone tell me the settings for CricKet's brew servers? Like when I go into PST and create a new brew file and load the settings from the phone they are set for Alltel. I want to reset them and I can't find the settings anywhere else. Thanks for any help you can give.

Well, I do appologize. Usually I search and I'm not that much of a n00b to forums. Really I owe you one. I honestly didn't think to search this forum for whatever reason. I guess I just thought that google would pick it up because it usually does.

Well, I did write those new settings to my phone but still no luck. When I try to get the catalogue, it still gives me error 534. I think the difference between our stories is that you actually flashed yours with CricKet software. I did not, although I would love to so that it doesn't say Alltel. Anyway you could find me some flash files for a v262? And yes, I've searched. It's not really a popular phone or service but I like it.

The flash file I found was by pure luck. I was browsing the Audiovox threaRAB and sturabled on it with a few other carrier flashes as well. That was for my 8910 which I toasted messing around with the file system. Learned a lot from that phone, about flashing, filesystem, CDMA technology, and a $200 (cost of current phone) custom PRL file mistake. Sadly though I haven't found any Cricket flex or flashes yet. As you said, info is limited for these CDMA Moto models and more so for Cricket's models. Now GSM phones, {My thoughts about GSM>>> :bash: :hurl: :toilet: It's law in Europe, so they can keep it.} info overload. I don't have a data cable... yet, so I can't make a flex for you to get the actual Motorola settings for Cricket. A flash of my phone won't work on your phone but a flex might, but I am not fully versed on what the 262, 265, 276 models can safely share. I'll post it when I get my cable and figure out all the Moto software and info I've been collecting.

It may have to do with the "UAPROF" (phone profile) file setting. It is different for each phone and carrier. It tells the BREW server what phone you have and what apps are compatable. :befuddled Good thing I just gave my search engine a tune up and oil change. :hehehe:

Well, about phone compatibality...

I think that the only difference between v262 and v265 is that yours has a camera. Beyond that it seems like motorola made the same phone. If I take off my faceplate there is even a spot for where the camera should go. So my guess is the same software should be ok but I just couldn't use the camera function. Anyway, if you are looking for a cheap cable, check Ebay. I got mine for $.01. Not a bad deal since Motorola charges about $32 on their site (what a rip off).
