What is a great fish to start breeding for beginners?

How to breed them?
(steps, supplies)

What do you do with the offspring
(how do you sell them)( and depending on fish, what offsping should I sell for a higher price or to keep for ex: a rare strain?)

Past experiences.and Tips?

(I am a beginner with breeding fish, not caring for them. Got 4 fish tanks all healthy and one is a saltwater)
 
hi,
start with guppies they are harder not to breed than to breed. you will need 2 females to every male tho, you can get up to 80 fry per pregnancy cycle (28 days). you will need a fry trap to put mum in when she is ready to give birth as they are live bears, and the fry like baby brine shrimp. your local fish shop may want to buy them or give you store credit, or sell them privately for around $2-3. they are a common fish. the off spring can take up to 6 months to sex and you will know there colors after about two months when it shows in the tail usually starting to l corner. you can get some rare breeds imported and to breed you should learn a little about there genetics otherwise you can easily go wrong.
