I really really love tostitos & salsa
I eat it every night for munchies.
Would it be bad while breastfeeding?
Like is to much tomatoe acid bad?

Nope! Eat up!

"Don't skip the salsa. Unless your baby seems sensitive to them, you don't need to shun foods that are spicy (salsa and chile rellenos), acidic (tomatoes and citrus) or gassy (broccoli and beans). In fact, exposing your baby to a variety of flavors now may make her more agreeable later, when you're introducing solid foods. "

I have eaten everything I wanted while breastfeeding and I was lucky because my little one never had a problem with it.
Your baby could be different though, you want to keep an eye out for fussiness and gassiness after you eat this stuff.

once in a while is okay, but too much of that stuff can cause the baby to get rashes. i would suggest only eating that a couple times a week. sad i know... but hey this way you can maybe find a new snack that you love!

Not likely but if your baby does get really fussy after the nursing session right after you eat it then you might try cutting it out of your diet and then seeing what happens.

The whole "You can't eat ******* while breastfeeding!"

is generally a myth. Usually stuff like dairy needs to be cut out of your diet if your baby gets colicky and you're breastfeeding. It almost makes your milk "hypoallergenic" but most babies nurse fine no matter what mom eats or drinks.

I drink coffee every day and my son doesn't seem affected at all. I drank a cup of coffee every day while I was pregnant too. :-D I love chips and salsa too! The only thing that I won't drink is mountain dew because I drank one once and then breastfed right away and my son cried for 2 hours. It probably had nothing to do with the mountain dew but I never loved that stuff THAT much anyway. lol
