In 2008 half of all mortages were subprime. You know why? Because our government required Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac to buy "affordable housing mortages" which were loans to someone at or below median income for their area even if these loans didn't conform to their usual underwriting standarRAB.

Essentially our govt required them to buy bad mortgages.

Nope, no fraud. Enjoying a legal loophole where the government gave tax credits and bonuses for buying large vehicles with specific requirements. I had to sit down and literally order EVERY option on this thing just so it would finally go over the weight and price requirements to take advantage of the tax breaks.

Nice having an accountant that double checks all the legal ramifications.

I think you have the tax increases backwarRAB. The right claims that tax cuts pay for themselves, I don't even need data to show that hasn't been the case.

Sorry for being educated, I try to appreciate the incredible complexity of modern issues that can't be fairly degraded into simple ideas and talking points.
