You don't have to but I would just call them and put your name in. It doesn't hurt any if you don't but it will be there if you decide to get it. I went to the harry potter release party at borders and if you reserved a copy you just got in line first but my friend hadnt reserved one and she just got it when it was our turn in line.

I would say probably not. They will have so many people who want to buy it that they should order plenty of copies - at least that was the way it was with my final Harry Potter. I think if you pre-order you can get invitations to midnight release or other special things.

It is a good idea, because it will be hard to get it without. People could be standing outside waiting for it for hours. Just pre-order it, it doesn't cost anything. Or order it online, and they will either send it on August 2nd, or around that date. I can't wait!
