It's brilliant! quite long though, but well worth a watch

As a stand alone film, without the subject matter being taken into consideration - Its brilliant. While nothing close to historically accurate in the sense of Wallace, it is close to the political feelings of the three nations at the time - England, Scotland and France.

I think it was recently voted the top Scottish Film of all time, so can't be bad The only problem I have with it, is the love interest between Wallace and Princess Isabelle; which I felt could have been cut out completely. Favourite character for me though, has to be Stephen, The Irishman

Brilliant film, well worth the watch.

"The Lord says he is looking out for me... but he says you're f**ked!"

If you take it just as a film then it is a lengthy piece of ok entertainment. But from a historical point it is lousy in some parts.
