Just thinking, is it possible to change BACK to original branded firmware using the NSS "product code change" technique?
i.e if you have changed your product code and updated via NSU to generic, but you have need to send your handset back to your provider under warranty, if you change the product code back to its original code will the NSU then change the firmware back to the branded version
Interesting question, as if you are on .42 and your operator is on .41, will NSU class this as an update to firmware? or does it just see the product code and install the latest corresponding firmware irrespective of "newness" of version
If anyone has a spare phone to test this with that they dont mind playing about with, it would be an interesting experiment!
