Brand New

The Devil and God was a great album, as was Deja. The only thing I worry about the new album and future albums is the band possibly getting a little too pretentious. That would not be good, and unfortunately, I can see it happening. But I'm still hoping for the best.

I might give Daisy another listen but I was pretty shocked when I first heard it... I didn't even think it was brand new. Definitely true about Jesse live. When I saw them, he was sitting in the corner during the other sets acting weird. He seemed hammered and depressed to me. Just comes off as a weird dude.

I prefer Limousine and Degausser. But i love every song. Also, i know a girl who hated the first song. But when her brother bought her the cd she loved it. So I wouldn't base your purchase of Sowing Season(yeah) although it is a great song.

I was NEVER a fan of this band.
Everyone yells at me for the hate.
But I don't find them talented .. in any other way than making crap music.

Oh, and the singer isn't good-looking, either.

Deja Entendu and The Devil and God are really good albums... I agree with you more except I think Deja is alot more accessible of an album. It's pretty likable the first go-round. The Devil and God is where you need to utilize the multiple listen technique imo. But regardless, this band is nice.

I wasn't bashing at all  It's one of the most-played albums I have. It just took a little time and adjusting to come to the realization that even though it has a very different sound and feel to it, relative to earlier albums, it's an excellent piece of work.

i just downloaded it today so i havent gotten a chance to really listen to it
i need to re-burn it though, some of the songs are screwy
& whats with all the songs being like 5+ minutes long?
