Brake System 1986 Cadillac Deville?

my guess would be you need a new master cylinder....
2-300.00 in a shop....

you didn't put motor oil in the brake resevoir, did you?

if you did you will need, the entire brake system disassembled , and all seals, and fluid replaced......
 
My brakes have stopped working pretty much completley. They were working just fine until yesterday after i added oil and coolant. Anyways the brake pads are fine because i had them checked 2 weeks ago at JUST BRAKES and the brake fluid is full. When i apply the brake all the way the car keeps going for 15 feet before coming to a stop going about 25 mph. I have no clue what is going on. When i open the hood smoke is coming from the brake system. (AREA UNDER BRAKE FLUID CONTAINER) Can someone tell me what is going on? Has my brake system completley failed on me? Whatever it is, how much will it cost to get fixed? THANK YOU
